Maybe the nicest site we have ever camped at. Everything was very clean. Site seemed very roomy to me even with three slides. Concrete pull throughs are the best. Old settlers trail across the street and to the left about 200 feet is not to be missed for hikers. Old cabin ruins and many creeks. Owners give sheet with hints on enjoying the area. Take the roads recommended by campground to get there to avoid the traffic. Well maintained and landscaped. I will be back.
Park is very clean, site we got had good shade which was great because it was near 100 degrees. Dog walk area is big but is at the other end of the park than our site. If you have dogs you might want to ask for a site at the end with the dog walk area as they do not allow dogs to do their thing at your campsite. They had both cable with around 80 channels and their wifi works great. The need to repaint their sign. It is faded and gives a bad first impression. Good location just south of town, gas station with diesel right across the street. Most sites are pull through and have enough room to park our truck. We have stayed here twice and would recommend it.
We arrived after hours, site map and directions to our site were taped on the door, worked great. Site had good shade, many sites shaded, some were not. Biggest most expensive sites had no shade. Right across highway from entrance to Mesa Verde, great location. No cable but but almost two dozen stations came in, including a Newfoundland Ca station. Very clean park and restrooms, site was roomy. Would come here again..
